Estimates and starting prices
Published prices are starting prices for typical standard installations. They are not final quotes. Equipment, water-source conditions, access, drain and power availability, and site constraints determine the written quote you receive.
Standard installation limits
A standard installation includes an accessible main line or standard under-sink connection, normal residential pipe and fittings, a bypass where applicable, suitable drain and existing power, normal working clearances, setup, and one standard visit. Excluded work is identified during review and quoted separately.
Who does the work
Joliet Water Filtration publishes local water information and prices, answers questions, and schedules the job. The installation itself is performed by an independent, properly licensed plumbing contractor under that contractor's own written agreement, warranty, and paperwork, which govern the work. Our role is limited to information and scheduling.
Photos and quotes
We ask for photos of the install area to confirm price, duration and scheduling. A written quote based on those photos is confirmed on site before work begins; if conditions differ from the photos, work stops and a written change order is offered.
Permits and licensing
Installation is performed by a properly licensed plumbing contractor. Required permit fees, municipal approvals, and homeowner-association approvals are the responsibility identified in the written scope.
No medical claims
Nothing on this website is medical advice. Water-treatment equipment may change taste, odor, hardness, or certified contaminant levels when properly specified and maintained, but we do not promise health outcomes. Test your water if you have a specific concern.
Written scope controls
The final written installation scope controls over website copy, verbal conversations, and estimates. If anything differs, the signed scope is the agreement.
